Lamborghini has given its Temerario a distinctly Italian makeover with the Temerario Tricolore, unveiled at Monterey Car Week.

It marks the return of Lamborghini’s Tricolore name after 15 years. The last model to wear the badge was the Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore, launched in 2011.

The new Temerario takes a more elaborate approach. Its exterior combines Blu Marinus Shiny on the lower body with Bianco Monocerus above, while black details and red brake calipers add contrast.

A green, white and red graphic on the bonnet completes the Italian flag theme. The same treatment continues inside, with black Nero Ade upholstery, red contrast stitching, Tricolore embroidery and a bespoke Temerario silhouette incorporated into the rear cabin trim.

The design was developed by Lamborghini Centro Stile with its Ad Personam personalisation programme, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

Underneath, the mechanical package remains unchanged. The Temerario Tricolore retains its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors, producing 920 CV. It can rev to 10,000 rpm, hit 100 km/h from rest in 2.7 seconds and exceed 340 km/h.
