BMW M4 CSL And M4 Competition 50 Jahre Now On Display In Singapore

BMW Asia presents an exclusive showcase of the limited-edition BMW M4 CSL and the BMW M4 Competition 50 Jahre in Singapore, as part of BMW M GmbH’s 50th anniversary. From now till Wednesday 14 Dec 2022, fans can get up close and personal with these two models in a special display at Performance Munich Autos.

CSL stands for ”Competition, Sport, Lightweight”, and only 1,000 M4 CSL examples will be built. Its 3.0-litre twin turbo in-line 6 cylinder petrol motor peaks at 550bhp and 650Nm, enough for it to sprint to 100km/h from scratch in 3.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the M4 Competition. But CSLs are not only about pulling punches on the straights - M division managed to shave 100kg out of a standard M4 and at 1,625kg, it's a respectable figure when pitched alongside electrified powerhouses. Fun fact: an Audi RS e-tron GT weighs 50% more!

The BMW M4 Competition 50 Jahre edition will seek refuge in homes of only 3 customers in Singapore. For the exterior paintwork of the edition vehicles, Imola Red and Macao Blue are being reissued. These are complemented by Gold Bronze matt M forged wheels. Other edition-specific touches can be found in the interior, with the M sports seats for the driver and front passenger also bearing a special imprint.
