BMW M6 Gran Coupe and the M5 Saloon Will Feature At Salon Prive
The M6 Gran Coupé and the M5 Saloon will be BMW's feature presentation at the 2013 Salon Privé. Revealed for the first time at the Detroit Motor Show 2013, the M6 Gran Coupé, based on the 6 Series Gran Coupé boasts new M design features, such as an ultra light carbon-fibre reinforced roof and 20” M double-spoke light-alloy wheels, exclusive to the Gran Coupé. It uses the M TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder petrol engine, which uses VANOS and Valvetronic intelligent technologies to ensure optimum fuel and oxygen intake for every driving situation. Consuming an average of 9.9 litres per 100km the Gran Coupe is one of the top of its class.
The M5 Saloon which made its debut in May, on the eve of the 24-hour Nurburgring race, will also feature at this September’s Salon Privé. Improvements to the new M5 include boosting the 4.4-litre V8 engine from 552bhp to 567bhp while also introducing a new sports suspension, which lowers the vehicle by 10mm.
Tickets for Salon Privé can be purchased at Salon Privé's website or by calling their Ticket Hotline. Entry is fully inclusive of Pommery champagne, lobster luncheon, English afternoon tea and full access to all areas.
