Brembos to stop Lexus IS-F

Set to rival BMW’s M3 and the Audi RS4, the IS-F, which will begin production in the later half of this year, features a 5.0 litre V8 engine, delivering an excess of 400 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque. The sprint to 100 km/h from standstill is expected to be 4.9 seconds or less. With shifting capabilities from its eight-speed automatic gearbox upshifting “within a tenth of a second”, flicking through its paddle shifters will be more than just something exciting. Downshifts will even be accompanied by very precise blips of the throttle.

Behind the face of its BBS 19-inch aluminium alloy wheels are the show-stoppers. The fronts get six-piston fixed caliper 360 x 30 perforated discs while the rear get 345 x 28 discs, also perforated and gripped by two-piston fixed calipers.
