Caltex extends its support for The Amazing Race Asia for its third season

Caltex, one of Asia's leading energy brands, announced yesterday that it will sponsor "The Toughest Race" - The Amazing Race Asia Season 3 for the third year in a row. Caltex will be hosting a variety of activities that will allow fans to demonstrate their support for their local team.

Caltex Singapore will also be organising its first ever "Amazing Automobile Assault", where Singaporeans will be pitted against Singapore's Amazing Race Asia 3 contestants A.D Chan and Faeza Sirajudin, host Allan Wu and the media in their test of their speed, skill and endurance. Filling a tank of petrol and pumping air into a flat tyre will be among the tasks assigned to all participating teams, and the teams that completes all these tasks in the shortest time stands to win attractive prizes.

This sponsorship makes Caltex the first and only energy company to be featured prominently in regional entertainment. The Amazing Race Asia is the Asian edition of the 15-time nominated, 7-time Emmy Award winning reality travel competition. The show drew close to 19 million viewers across Asia in its second season, and will once again be telecast exclusively on AXN.

This third season comprises of 10 diverse teams from India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Korea and the Philippines.
