Proton has confirmed the next phase of its plans for Singapore, announcing the upcoming launch of a Cat A version of the Proton e.MAS 7, together with a first preview of the all-new Proton e.MAS 5. Both models are slated to arrive in 2026 and will make their local debut at the Singapore Motorshow 2026, giving visitors a close-up look at Proton’s latest EVs.

The Proton e.MAS 7 will be shown with a 100 kW electric powertrain designed for everyday use. Focused on efficiency, comfort, and smart features, it is built to suit daily urban driving. Offered under Cat A COE, the e.MAS 7 aims to deliver practical performance with a more accessible entry point for Singapore buyers.

The Proton e.MAS 5 comes with a strong global track record, with more than 10,000 units sold in Malaysia and recognition as China’s best-selling electric vehicle. Developed around Proton’s VOLT framework, it combines technology, design, space and safety for everyday electric mobility.

It features a CATL LFP battery that supports fast charging from 30 to 80 per cent in 21 minutes. The design includes aerodynamic alloy wheels and a distinctive two-tone leatherette steering wheel. Inside, the cabin offers 32 storage compartments and a 70-litre front trunk for class-leading practicality. Comprehensive ADAS, strong braking performance, rear-wheel drive, and a multi-link suspension round out the package, delivering safety, comfort and confident driving dynamics.
