Cat B and E COE Premiums Break Records Yet Again In Second Bidding Exercise of September 2023
Just when we thought that the previous cycle was bonkers…
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$105,000, an increase of S$4,000 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$140,889, an increase of S$6,000 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$912 to S$83,801.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced a decrease of S$201, to S$10,700.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$7,640, to S$144,640.
