Category A Coe Prices Take Another Jump, Category B Prices Stable

The first bidding exercise in May sees a jump of over $3,000 for Category A COEs. Prevailing Quota Premiums however are still relatively low for Category A cars. Click here to renew your current car’s COE.

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),
Quota of 1,431 @ $36,704, up from $33,199,

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, and have a more than 130bhp),
Quota of 1,139 @ $48,010 up from $48,000,

Commercial Vehicle Category C,
Quota of 394 @ $28,559, down from $32,001,

Motorcycle Category D,
Quota of 923 @ $3,352 down from $3,452,

Open Category E (All but motorcycles),
Quota of 384 @ $52,502, up from $52,410,

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB and the Internet Banking facilities of UOB or Maybank, do ensure that you have bank accounts with these participating banks.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
