COE News: Prices up significantly in all passenger car categories
COE premiums for passenger cars are up all round after the second bidding exercise for July ended today.

Cat A COE premiums jumped to $36,162 from $29,501 from a fortnight ago. Out of the 967 bids received in Cat A, only 699 were successful. In Cat B, prices are up by almost $7,000 to end at $42,889 ($35,909 last time round). 552 of the 890 bids received managed to secure a Cat B COE. Open cat COE premiums closed at $43,565.
The latest round of COE price increases come in the wake of the LTA's announcement of further cuts in COE quota for the next quarter.
