COE Premiums Close Higher In 4 Out Of 5 Categories In Second Bidding Exercise Of August 2022

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$87,889, an increase of S$7,889.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$112,001, an increase of S$5,000 from the previous tender.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$3,001 to S$59,090.
In the motorcycle category, premiums went up by S$101, to S$11,101.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$999, to S$112,001.
