COE Premiums End Mixed In First COE Bidding Exercise of May 2024
Cat B COE climbed higher to S$105k, while Cat A held steady at 93 grand.
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$93,604, a decrease of S$406 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$105,002, an increase of S$3,001 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$1,499 to S$70,001.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced a decrease of S$487, to S$9,503.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$1,440, to S$104,689.
