COE Premiums Rise In Most Categories In First Bidding Exercise of June 2023

Cat E is the only category that decreased, placing it in close proximity to Cat B’s premium.

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$98,001, an increase of S$6,001 from the previous tender.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$120,702, an increase of S$7,668 from the previous result.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$4,300 to S$81,801.

In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced an increase of S$399, to S$11,001.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$4,111, to S$120,889.
