Dinner, Designed By Lexus? That's Exactly The Point

Lexus is proving it's about more than just building luxury cars.

The brand has unveiled Refine Dining, a new collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy that transforms a meal into a carefully curated experience. Launching first in Singapore, the culinary series will travel across Southeast Asia over the next two years, stopping in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Brunei.

Instead of focusing solely on what's on the plate, Refine Dining is designed around every touchpoint. Renowned chefs team up with local designers to create exclusive menus, while specially crafted tableware is designed to complement each signature dish and elevate the overall dining experience.

The Singapore debut takes place at Akira Back in JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach, where the Michelin Selected restaurant has created an exclusive menu inspired by Lexus' pursuit of craftsmanship and innovation.

Completing the experience is a custom-made Bone China utensil by Hans Tan Studio. In keeping with both Lexus' attention to detail and the restaurant's zero-waste philosophy, bones from the kitchen are recycled into bone ash and incorporated into the ceramic. Eagle-eyed diners will even spot subtle styling cues borrowed from the all-new Lexus ES.

It's all part of Lexus' Omotenashi philosophy - anticipating guests' needs before they're even asked. For the launch event, invited guests will be chauffeured to dinner in Lexus' electrified vehicles, while Marriott Bonvoy members can also enjoy a range of exclusive hotel, spa and dining privileges throughout the regional campaign.

Following the exclusive launch, three public dinners will be held in each participating country, giving diners the opportunity to experience Lexus' signature approach to craftsmanship in a setting far removed from the driver's seat.
