F1: Raikkonen to drive in the final 2 races
Tensions have been building between Lotus F1 Team and Kimi Raikkonen over issues of pay. The Finn has been owed some £17 million, and threatened to boycott the final 2 races if he doesn’t receive his paycheck. Thankfully for Lotus, Quantum Motorsports have stepped in a purchased a 35 percent stake in the team from owners Genii Capital. This deal was announced in June, but only finalized very recently. As a result, the team have struggled to pay their suppliers and Raikkonen, although the rest of the crew have been paid. However, nothing will change for the 2014 season though. With the Ferrari deal already signed. The Iceman will move back to Maranello after being told to leave in 2009. The chaps over at Quantum Motorsports are piping Nico Hulkenberg who currently drives a Sauber to succeed Raikkonen.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.

Toyota To Display Future Mobility In Tokyo
On 20th November, five new Toyota vehicle concepts will make their world debut at the Tokyo Motor Show including the latest development of the Fuel Cell Vehicle(FCV) concept. The line-up consists of the work being done by Toyota to make a positive impact in society by designing and building ever-better cars that go beyond what people expect from a car.
The Toyota FCV Concept will be revealed for the first time at Tokyo. It previews the fuel cell vehicle Toyota plans to launch around 2015 as a pioneer in the development of hydrogen-powered cars. The car will have a range of at least 300 miles (500km) on a full tank and a refuelling time of around three minutes, which is approximately the same as for a petrol or diesel vehicle.

Fleet Favorite New Mazda6 Emissions Reduced To 104g/km
The fleet favorite and multi award-winning new Mazda6 has become even more appealing for company car drivers with a CO2 emission cut that will deliver tax savings. Engine modifications to the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 litre 150PS engine powering both the new Mazda6 Saloon and Tourer manual models deliver a CO2 emission reduction of 4g/km and 6g/km respectively to just 104g/km and 110g/km.
The engine improvements also deliver improved fuel economy with the Saloon now returning 72.4 mpg(+5.1mpg) and the Tourer 67.3mpg(+3.1mpg) on the combined cycle. As a result Mazda expects a further strengthening of corporate demand for the low emission models.
