Ferrari boss does not like street circuits

The Singapore GP is not only a night race, but one of the few street circuits in the F1 calendar alongside Monaco and Valencia.

Meanwhile, Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has openly expressed his dislike for street circuits.

"I have the impression it will be one of those letdowns where you cannot overtake, like Valencia," he said.

People who claim that F1 lacks excitement have often attributed this to the lack of overtaking during races.

Di Montezemolo is concerned with the number of street circuits, saying they could be detrimental to the future of the sport.

He added, "Going forward with these circuits heralds a bad future for Formula One."
