Seoul -- Hyundai Motor Co. has made plans to showcase, and perhaps, debut their spanking new, hydrogen powered crossover concept at the Frankfurt International Motorshow in this month of September.

Named the (sadly) i-Blue, the concept runs on Hyundai's third-generation hydrogen fuel cell technology. It sits on a new, car-based crossover platform which is a little different considering how previous hydrogen experiments were done with foundations from SUVs.

The i-Blue was developed at a Hyundai technical center located in Chiba, Japan.

Hyundai also plans to display a wagon version of its (you guessed it) i30 hatchback and the Veloster roadster concept. Both have made their appearances earlier this year at the Seoul Auto Show.
