Kah Motor supports UNEP B4E 2008 as fleet partner
22nd to 23rd April 2008 saw business leaders and environmental champions convene in Singapore for the second B4E - Business for the Environment Global Summit.
The B4E Global Summit focuses on the global economic and financial impact environmental concerns in the areas of resource efficiencies, renewable energies, new business models and climate strategies. The B4E Global Summit features roundtables and panel discussions with leaders from global companies, governments, non-governmental organisations and civil societies. The summit attracted 1000 participants, reflecting a growing interest in the event from 2007, which attracted only about 840 participants from over 20 industry sectors across 38 countries.
In support of the prestigious and meaningful event, Kah Motor provided the exclusive use of 15 Honda Civic Hybrids to ferry the VIPs. This year's VIP include the following "Champion of the Earth" laureates - Prince Albert II of Monaco, New Zealand's Prime Minister Helen Clark, US Senator Timothy E. Wirth, senior researcher at Sudan's Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources Balgis Osman-Elasha, Executive Director of the Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies Atiq Rahman, former Energy and Environment Minister of Barbados Liz Thompson, and Secretary General of the Yemen People's General Congress Abdul-Qadeer Ba-Jamaal.
