Lamborghini Reventon flies over Turin
Lamborghini held a press conference entitled ”Lamborghini and speed – a project in record time” as part of the “Turin 2008 – World Design Capital” programme of events.
And in spectacular fashion, Lamborghini had the Marina Militare Italiana [I](Italian marines)[/I] air lift a Reventon supercar over the city of Turin by military helicopter and then land it on the rooftop of the Lingotto building, thus, closing the conference.
With local, international and academic VIPs including representatives from the automotive industry in attendance, the purpose of the conference was to explore the extraordinary timescales, design and production abilities demonstrated in producing the 1 million Euro Reventon supercar, of which all 20 units have been sold worldwide.
