Largest EV Charging Cluster In Tampines Retail Park Opens
The charging cluster comprises 38 EV charging points spanning Giant Hypermarket, IKEA Tampines, COURTS Tampines and T-Space.
Charge+ has opened Singapore's largest electric vehicle (EV) charging cluster in the Tampines Retail Park area, with a total of 38 charging points spread across Giant Hypermarket, IKEA Tampines, COURTS Tampines and T-Space.
The facility was officially launched by Minister of State for Transport and Culture, Community and Youth, and North East District Mayor, Mr Baey Yam Keng, at Giant Hypermarket, where a six-point DC fast charging hub supports the Land Transport Authority's plans to expand fast-charging infrastructure across Singapore.
Strategically located near the TPE and PIE, the charging cluster is expected to serve motorists from eastern and northeastern towns including Tampines, Pasir Ris, Punggol and Sengkang.
"The launch of our largest EV charging cluster in Tampines reflects Charge+'s commitment to making EV charging more convenient and accessible for everyday drivers," said Charge+ CEO Goh Chee Kiong, adding that the company remains focused on expanding an affordable and reliable charging network to support Singapore's transition to cleaner mobility.
