BMW has retained its lead in Singapore's premium electric vehicle market, ending the first half of 2026 with a 52.7% market share. The brand also ranked second overall in the country's premium car segment with a 36.3% share.

Across the region, BMW continued to perform strongly. It remained Indonesia's leading premium and premium EV brand with market shares of 53.9% and 52.0% respectively, while sales grew 9.1% year-on-year. The Philippines also posted a healthy 17.6% sales increase.

BMW Group Asia Managing Director Rene Gerhard said premium buyers continue to value technology, safety, brand trust and aftersales support. He added that around two in five BMWs sold in Singapore are now electric, with strong demand already building for the upcoming BMW iX3.

Looking ahead, BMW plans to strengthen its EV lineup in the second half of 2026 with the arrival of the new BMW 7 Series and all-electric BMW i7.
