Launch of the 2013 Citroen C4

The CITROËN C4 will come in 2 variants – petrol 1.6L THP 155 and diesel 1.6L e-HDi 115, both in 6-speed EGS. Fitted with a Stop & Start System and an e-HDi micro-hybrid technology that cuts fuel consumption by 15%, the e-HDi variant will be the first diesel passenger car in the CITROËN range in Singapore, boasting a low carbon emission of only 109g/km, thus enjoying $15,000 CEVS rebate. The petrol variant emits 148g/km, enjoying $5,000 CEVS rebate.

The introduction of the C4 e-HDi marks the very first Airdream variant launched in Singapore. “Airdream” is Citroën’s very own eco-label, started in 2007 to focus on producing vehicles with low CO2 emissions. To receive the “Airdream” label, vehicles must satisfy 3 stringent criteria; 1) emit no more than 140g of CO2 per kilometre; 2) be produced in an ISO 14001 certified plant; 3) is 95% recoverable, which means all steps are taken to recover vehicle materials for energy. With the general public more receptive towards diesel vehicles and with attractive CEVS rebates starting January 2013, Cycle & Carriage France is planning to introduce more Citroën Airdreams under different models in 2013.

The CITROËN C4 surprises and appeals through its styling. From fluid surfaces, sculpted lines to its chrome trims, the CITROËN C4 has a striking exterior that is assertive, elegant and surprisingly compact as a hatchback. Inside the CITROËN C4, a wide windscreen is further enhanced by a 1.3m2 panoramic sunroof, the widest for a hatch in Singapore, contributing to its overall design and giving the interior an illusion of space.

Expert craftsmanship manifests itself in the details whether you’re behind the wheel or one of the passengers onboard. Everything you see and touch is meticulously created to meet your standards. The dashboard and fascia of the CITROËN C4 have been designed with the best in-class materials. The roof is lined with jersey fabric and cool satin chrome detailing lines the steering wheel controls, air-conditioned vents as well as the gear lever.
