Local News: COE Results for August Round 2

Cat B, C and E COE prices fell while that of the other categories saw a slight increase.

For the second round of the COE bidding exercise in August, Cat B, C and E prices fell. Cat B prices dropped by $5,369 (7.57%), Cat C by $1,720 (5.33%), while Cat E prices fell by $3,117 (4.65%).

Cat A prices increased by $500 (1.02%) and Cat D prices rose by $109 (5.78%).

Total quota for this round is 1,247 and this figure excludes goods vehicles (Cat C) and motorcycles (Cat D).

The final COE prices are as follows:
Cat A: 49,301
Cat B: 65,521
Cat C: 32,289
Cat D: 1,999
Cat E: 67,000
