Local News: Eurokars Habitat raises S$4,020 from the MINI ‘Getaway Drive for Charity’

The “Getaway Drive for CARE”, was a charity project initiated by Eurokars Habitat to help raise funds for the Children-At-Risk-Empowerment Association (CARE Singapore), a non-profit organization that helps at-risk youth turn their lives around.

As part of this noble endeavour, Eurokars Habitat Pte Ltd provided a handful of corporate organizations the opportunity to drive the largest MINI ever, the all new MINI Cooper S Countryman All4 covered in specially designed decals supporting CARE, for a period of 3 days each.

The organizations which took part in this unique endeavour include the likes of Rikecool Automotive Pte Ltd and Kinetic Singapore.

Each participating organization contributed $670 to this worthy cause. A total of S$2,010 was raised from this fundraising activity and the entire amount was matched by Eurokars Habitat Pte Ltd, for a grand total of S$4,020 which will be donated to CARE to help them continue their invaluable work.

It was a rewarding experience to organize the event and see the smiles on the faces of the children who enjoyed the activities,” said Mr. Edmund Gin, General Manager, Eurokars Habitat Pte. Ltd.
