Local News: Kartright Speedway officially opens
Karting fans now have a purpose built facility in Jurong to hone their skills as well as to store their karts.
Kartright Speedway, at 511 Upper Jurong Road opposite SAFTI MI, is opened by bunch of enthusiasts who are passionate about karting.
The 750m track is a technical and challenging one and is built to host national level races and championships. In addition to the track, there are F and B outlets, a pro shop for karters to buy their gear as well as storage facilities for your own karts.
Kartright is set to host the Singapore Sports Council and Singapore Motorsports Association sanctioned Singapore Karting Championship and hopefully the series will spawn a talented young driver that is of F1 material for the future.
