Local News: Porsche ups the ante with the new 911 Turbo
Porsche Centre Singapore today unveiled the latest generation 911 Turbo at its showroom at Leng Kee Road.
Looks wise, the new range topping 911 might be hard to differentiate from the old but there's much to look forward to under the skin. Porsche's PDK dual clutch gearbox replaces the Tiptronic S automatic transmission for two pedal models while the engine has been enlarged from 3600cc to 3800cc. The result is more power (500bhp) and a 0-100km/h time of 3.4c seconds if the Sport Chrono package is specified.
With its new found performance, the timeless 911 can now truly compete with supercar models from Lamborghini, Ferrari and the Audi R8 V10.
