McLaren Singapore will be celebrating its 60th anniversary with the largest gathering of McLarens in the country. Sure, it might not be held at a scale to rival that of Porsches’s stellar showing in Singapore late last year, but it will be a sight to behold nevertheless.

Forming the number “60”, the event will take place this Friday, 26 May. 40 McLarens will be participating, and we are not ruling out countless more joining in the festivities.

According to LTA’s annual vehicle statistics, there are 180 Singapore-registered McLarens as of 2022, so we’ll get a chance to witness more than a fifth of the entire local population rubbing shoulders this Friday. To put things in perspective, there are 871 Ferraris registered on local shores as of 2022, so exclusivity is assured in Singapore if you are one of the lucky few McLaren owners.

Founded by Bruce McLaren sixty years ago, the New Zealand-born racer, engineer, and visionary set-up the racing team in England that remains one of the world’s most successful names in motorsport. It’s the only team to have won the “Triple Crown of Motorsport” with race victories in the Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500 and Le Mans 24 Hours.
