Mercedes-Benz Launches 7-Seater EQS SUV In Singapore, All Yours From S$596,888 With COE

Mercedes-Benz has launched the new EQS SUV at the recently concluded Mercedes-Benz Showcase in Raffles City Shopping Centre. The EQS SUV combines luxury, technology and sustainability, providing ample space, comfort and connectivity in a package that houses up to seven. For those that have dug deep into Apple’s ecosystem, the walled garden has benefited you once again - it’s the first luxury car in Singapore to feature Apple Music's Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos directly integrated.

The model range includes two variants: EQS 450 4MATIC SUV Electric Art (S$596,888 with COE) and EQS 450 4MATIC SUV AMG Line (S$691,888 with COE). The EQS SUV shares its long wheelbase with the EQS Saloon but is taller, resulting in a spacious interior to house a third row of seats.

The interior is both spacious and luxurious, featuring the MBUX Hyperscreen and digitised elements. The EQS SUV utilises the 2nd-gen MBUX, which adapts to users and offers suggestions for various functions without complex menus. The hybrid wood trim with aluminum inlays adds a modern touch.

The car emphasises quietness and performance, incorporating acoustic foams, insulation, and sound-reducing features. It has a range of up to 610km and output of up to 265kW. All models have an electric drivetrain on the rear axle, with 4MATIC adding a front axle drive. The Torque Shift function intelligently distributes drive torques in the 4MATIC models.

The EQS SUV offers customisation through modular equipment packages, bundling driving assistance systems (much needed for one that measures well more than 5 metres in length). For instance, the Advanced Package includes the Assistance Package, while higher-tier packages like Advanced Plus, Premium, or Premium Plus include the Driving Assistance Package Plus.
