[B]The MINI Drive Experience[/B]

Singapore’s celebrity to motorsport and veteran driver, Ringo Chong, unveiled a winding, gymkhana like course of pylons, twists and turns for drivers that MINI claims, "showcased the MINI’s legendary go-kart zippiness even as participants pick up driving techniques and cues."

With automatic MINI Cooper, Cooper S and MINI One cars, members of the media were able to experience the handling prowess of the car brand in tight situations.

Journalists attempting the course in the later part of the afternoon were in for a huge challenge, where smoothness and control were the words of the day. It rained very heavily, demanding the best out of all drivers in order to clock a good time through the course.

“MINI is an amazingly exhilarating car to drive,” says Ringo. “It is very involving – almost like driving a go-kart but infinitely more comfortable! Yet there are so many luxuries and safety features built into it to keep things fun."
