More night F1 races to come
Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One's chief executive officer, has persuaded the sport's South-east Asian venues to hold night racing.

Formula One officials want the sport's Asian leg to be more accessible to Europe, where two-thirds of its television viewers reside. They are now persuading the sport's South-east Asian venues such as China and South Korea to race under the stars.
Singapore is staging the first night Grand Prix in September and Mr Ecclestone said that he'll push the region's other F-1 organisers to transform Asia into night-only racing. Malaysian Grand Prix organisers have also agreed and the next Sepang F1 race in 2009 will be at night.
'We'll speak to the people in China, see what we can do there,' said Mr Ecclestone. 'Obviously when we race in South Korea (from 2010), it will be good to have a night race.'
