New NSX is cancelled
Tokyo - The abrupt change involving the global automobile industry from mid-September of this year that was triggered by the financial crisis, forced all the automakers to change various plans over a very short period of time.

According to Honda, the situation is worsening and is showing no sign of recovery.
In light of this, Honda has no choice but to undertake several actions, which include the reassessment of new production facilities, vehicle production figures, and sales targets.
Unfortunately, spending on R&D is also affected. The development of the NSX successor model equipped with a V10 engine will be cancelled.
Honda will also develop business plans based on the assumption that the situation is set to worsen next year, and will navigate the company accordingly through this challenge.
They will also strive to effectively utilize resources to ensure that long-term initiatives such as the advancement of environmentally friendly technologies are still implemented.
