The Nissan Nuvu concept features a new platform measuring around three meters long with an electric drivetrain. Nissan claims that the 2+1 concept is the perfect city car for a better tomorrow.
The car will have zero emissions due to its electric drivetrain, and have "X-By-Wire" control for its dynamic functions. In keeping with the green trend, the car will be manufactured with the extensive use of natural, organic, and recycled materials.
A distinctive feature is the roof, which is actually an extension of the front windscreen. Solar panels incorporated into the roof will actually help charge the car's Li-Ion batteries.
The car is only in it's concept stage, but you can expect to see some of the features making their way to Nissan's planned EV, which is to debut in 2010.
