Porsche be warned. Six years after the launch of the 350Z, Nissan is serious about taking the classic German sportscar manufacturer head on.

The new 370Z will come equipped with a larger 335-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine. Nissan has also placed the car on a diet, and rumours are that it could be 200 lbs lighter than the previous model.

Looks like Nissan is coming up with a harder-edged Z. Will it be enough to beat Porsche? One thing's for sure: Nissan will be aiming to at least give the German carmaker a bloody nose.
