Petrol Stations Across Malaysia to Open 7am-10pm daily
As if fuel prices aren't high enough here, those who seek solace in the lack of traffic jams and cheap petrol through those late night ventures across the causeway to Johor Baru, Malaysia, will be in for a very rude shock - in a bid to stem late night robberies and low sales, petrol stations across the Malaysian Peninsula will cease to function after 10pm, and then, re-open at 7am the next day.

If you get robbed whilst filling up, we don't want to know about it - a message that most consumers got across the Malaysian Peninsula after the Star reported Malaysia-wide closure of petrol stations come nightfall.
The decision was made by the Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia (PDAM), which claims that higher overhead costs, low customer volume and the increase in crimes during the night have prompted them to reach a common decision.
However, those of you with credit cards, might be able to use the self help machines (at your own risk) one of the other planned moves.
