Peugeot's 107/207 Frenched with Sexiness in Town!
Peugeot’s spanking new 107 and 207, made their debut at Ngee Ann City’s Civic Plaza just yesterday. Both the 107 and 207 are the latest innovations from renowned French carmaker, Peugeot, an automotive manufacturer with many notable innovations that go into their cars.

The 107 is Peugeot’s fun and affordable interpretation of the small city car and was jointly developed by PSA Peugeot Citroen and Toyota Motor Corporation. The 107 is a breath of fresh air with its deliberate non-conformist face.

The turning circle is a tight 9.46 metres and the engine is that familiar, zesty 1-litre 68bhp unit that many of us LOVED in the Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo.
Expect plenty of zip in urban traffic conditions and high-speed cruising. The Peugeot takes things further with a 2-Tronic, 5-speed gearbox not normally found in small capacity cars, yielding an incredible frugal consumption rate of just 21.7km per litre (EC combined cycle).
Lifestyle features include an MP3 socket, pod-mounted tachometer and a range of stylish colours. The split folding rear seats add versatility, while the extended rear door design and pop-out rear windows carries that oh so familiar theme.
There are 4 airbags and is awarded with 4 stars on the Euro NCAP safety rating, which is class leading. Active safety systems include ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) and CSC (Cornering Stability Control), features not commonly found in cars the next category up, not to mention in the 1-litre category.

The 207 is the perfect answer to the aging 206. It still has that intensity with its looks, and excellent all roundedness with the 1.6 litre, 16 valve twin-cam engine. This is the same engine one might find in the Mini Cooper. It produces 120hp, and is a development between the PSA Peugeot-Citroen Group & BMW Group.

It comes with VVT (Variable Valve Timing), and a Porsche Tiptronic automatic gearbox, giving you the choice of automatic (for easy driving) or manual (when you want to feel in control) modes.
The electric power steering has speed variable assistance to ensure parking (light feel) and cruising (firm feel) are effortless for the driver.

Comprehensive safety features include hazard lights that come on automatically under emergency braking, rain & light sensor, EBA (Emergency Brake Assist), ABS with EBD and dual airbags up front. Its front passenger airbag can also be deactivated should your child be seated in front for total safety.

2 ISOFIX child seat mountings are standard equipment. The 207’s maximum 5-star EURO NCAP safety rating speaks for its impeccable safety record.
Equipment levels are excellent. Therein lies dual zone air-conditioning (for separate left / right temperature settings), an MP3-compatible CD / radio audio system, round white-faced dials, carbon trimmings, 16-inch wheels, front fog lights with chrome housing, rear chrome exhaust embellishment and LED-effect rear lights.
