Even a 10-second drive-through penalty for colliding with Brawn's Rubens Barrichello could not stop the Aussie.

Winning his maiden Formula One victory by a margin of around ten seconds, Red Bull's Mark Webber led his team mate Sebastian Vettel to their team's third one-two finish of the season.

Third place went to Ferrari's Felipe Massa, while Nico Rosberg claimed fourth place for Williams.

Brawn GP, which had been strong all season, did not make it to the podium. Jenson Button finished fifth, while Rubens Barrichello finished sixth after enduring a fuel rig problem.

No one however, will be writing Brawn GP off anytime soon. Button still leads the championship with 68 points, while Vettel is second, with 47 points.

Mark Webber's maiden win however, puts him at 45.5 points - a scant 1.5 points away from his team mate Sebastian Vettel.
