Renault F1 Team to answer conspiracy charge
Renault have been ordered to appear before the FIA World Motor Sport Council on September 21.

Renault stand accused of deliberately ordering their former driver, Nelson Piquet Jr. to crash his car during the Singapore Grand Prix.
Piquet, who blamed his crash on "driver error", crashed two laps after his team mate, Fernando Alonso, had just finished his routine pit stop.
Alonso, who was then running in 15th place, was catapulted into first when the Safety Car was deployed. While the front-running teams ordered their cars to pit for fuel and tyres, Alonso did not have to. He was thus able to stay out, keep his lead and go on to win the race.
If Renault is found guilty by the World Motor Sport Council, the punishment meted out could include Renault's points being docked, and the team even being excluded from this year's championship.
