Revised BMW Z4
BMW has released pictures and details of a facelifted Z4, ahead of its Detroit Motor Show debut
This is the revised version of the BMW Z4, shown here ahead of its official public debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January. The biggest change is the introduction of a new entry-level model, the BMW Z4 sDrive18i, which is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that develops 154bhp. It comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, or an eight-speed auto gearbox can be ordered as an option.vThe manual sDrive18i can complete the 0-100 Km/h sprint in 7.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 220Km/h.
Aside from the new engine, there are some minor tweaks to the Z4’s exterior, including revised LED headlights and a choice of new 17 and 18-inch alloy wheel designs.
Aside from the new sDrive18i model, the remaining Z4 sDrive20i, sDrive28i, sDrive35i and sDrive35is (pictured) spec levels continue unchanged.
