SG: Delivery man fined for damaging bus

51-year old Sim Boo Kiong pleaded guilty to damaging the wiper of an SBS Transit bus, resulting in damage amounting to $835. According to eyewitnesses, Sim stood in the centre lane of the Serangoon road, in front of bus operating on Service 65 on 29th March. He then signalled for the bus driver to open the door, which the driver refused to do. Sim then used his hands to pull the wiper, damaging it. For his act, he could have been jailed up to two years and/or fined for mischief.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
