SG: Improvements to bus apps
A new function has been added to LTA’s MyTransport.SG mobile app. The feature will enable commuters to know in advance whether the buses they are waiting for will still have seats/space onboard. The app will feature the same timing readouts as before, the only difference being that they are colour coded. Green means seats are available, yellow means that there are no seats left and passengers will have to stand, whilst red means the bus is packed. Through revisions to the apps, bus timings have also become more accurate. The new data will also be shared to third party transport apps similar to the sort LTA has put out.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
