SG: LTA to launch taxi booking app
LTA will unveil their new crowd-sourced taxi booking application in December. Dubbed Taxi-Taxi@SG, the app aims to better match taxis to commuters by showing them the availability and location of taxis all across the island. The onboard map enables commuters to locate the number of taxis near them. Taxi drivers can use the app to seek out potential customers as well, which should help reduce the time spent on roads looking for customers.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
