SG: Pregant woman brought to hospital after tree falls on car

An uprooted tree along Orchard Road on Wednesday caused two cars to be damaged and the evening rush hour traffic to be further delayed. The fallen tree also damaged a taxi's rear windscreen and a red Ford Focus close to it. A crane was sent and arrived at 8.30pm to remove the tree. An 11 week pregnant woman was sent to the hospital by an ambulance after she complained of giddiness and nausea. Paramedics on scene did not report injuries on the Chines woman in her 30s.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
