SG: Taxi driver succumbs to injuries

A taxi driver in his 70s has died from injuries sustained in a car accident. The crash (See video below), which occurred this past Saturday, was captured on video. The impact was described by MP for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Zainal Sapari as “horrific”. The impact was sustained along Pasir Ris Drive 3, in close proximity to Greenview Secondary School, at about 1.30pm on Saturday. The family of the taxi driver informed Mr Zainal yesterday that the man has passed away. He was a long time taxi driver, and his family describes him as a careful driver. 3 people, inclusive of the taxi driver, were hurt in the incident. Police investigations are ongoing.
