Sime Motors Consolidates Pre-Owned Car Businesses Under Auto Selection Brand

Sime Motors, the automotive arm of Sime Darby Berhad, has unified its pre-owned car operations in Singapore under the brand Auto Selection. This consolidation merges Performance Premium Selection Limited (PPSL) and Sime Darby Auto Selection (SDAS) into a single entity, now legally known as Sime Darby Auto Selection Limited. The move aligns with the brand’s existing presence in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Auto Selection brings together the strengths of both businesses to offer a wide range of certified pre-owned BMWs and multi-brand used cars.

“Auto Selection is more than a refreshed brand; it represents a strategic consolidation that enhances customer convenience, expands choice and ensures consistent quality,” said Mr Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Sime. “At the same time, it reinforces Sime’s growing presence across the retail automotive value chain in the region, from new to pre-owned vehicles.”

Auto Selection’s direct retail of trade-ins allows it to offer more competitive trade-in values, while also helping to channel potential customers towards new BMW ownership through its sister company, Performance Motors Limited (PML).

Through its “All Access to Joy” programme, PML will now offer Auto Selection’s pre-owned customers the same benefits previously reserved for BMW owners, including access to special events and service packages.
