Singapore Grand Prix Photo Competition extended to end April 2009
Avid photographers who attended the 2008 FORMULA 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix will now have another month to take part in the Singapore Grand Prix Photo Competition.

Originally slated to end on 20 March, it is now being extended to 30 April.
“The Singapore Grand Prix Photo Competition provides an ideal platform for spectators to showcase their finest photos taken during 2008 FORMULA 1TM Singtel Singapore Grand Prix. We have been very impressed by the photos submitted so far, which display the exhilarating and unforgettable experiences spectators enjoyed at the race last year. We hope the extension will encourage more photographers to share the spectacular moments they captured on camera,” said Mr Chang Chee Pey, Director, Brand Management, Singapore Tourism Board.
Photos with accompanying captions can be submitted online at www.visitsingapore.com/mysgp where entries will be jointly assessed by the STB and Singapore GP. The winner will be awarded a pair of tickets to the exclusive Formula One Paddock ClubTM while the first runner-up will win a pair of Pit Grandstand tickets for the 2009 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix. The next seven winners will be presented with the second runner-up prize of a pair of three-day passes to the Padang Grandstand each. In total, nine pairs of 2009 FORMULA 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix tickets will be given away.
Shortlisted photos will be featured online and may be used in marketing collateral by the STB and Singapore GP. Winners will be announced on www.visitsingapore.com/mysgp on 25 May 2009.
