After sampling the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid in Los Angeles earlier this year, we finally witnessed the unveiling of the very same car in Singapore some nine months later. The car is available to be ordered immediately and deliveries are expected to take place during the first half of next year.

Curiously, while the Bentayga Hybrid was unveiled globally prior to the Flying Spur Hybrid, it is the latter car that made it first to Singapore. The price starts from $1,019,000 before COE and options, which slots the Hybrid in between the V8 and W12 models.

Besides very subtle ‘Hybrid’ badges on the outside, the car is virtually indiscernible from its ICE siblings, which is a good thing if you want to go stealthily green. This also means the sumptuous leather-clad interior remains a classy place to be in, made all the better by the fact that the Hybrid runs quietest of all variants.

It is yet to be seen if the take-up of the car can surpass that of the V8 and W12 models, but its EV-only range of some 41 km does seem to make a lot of sense for our type of driving conditions. Expect this to be a preview of further electrification to come across all models.
