Singapore Welcomes The New Mercedes Benz C-Class in Sheer Style
Mercedes-Benz revealed the new C-Class on Tuesday evening marking a new chapter in the brand's history. The C-Class offers safety and comfort through new assistance systems, and provides an exemplary ride with its nimble and agile handling. The striking, dynamic design of the new C-Class is matched with a host of technical innovations and a high-class interior, which includes a new center console with finely crafted details. “The new C-Class is a bold departure from its predecessor and continues to deliver unparalleled excellence and superior performance for generations to come," said Mr. Wolfgang Huppenbauer, President & CEO of Mercedes-Benz Singapore. "Embodying the perfect balance of agility, efficiency, luxury and comfort, the C-Class is an upgrade to a higher class.”
The launch had a progressive and futuristic theme at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, which was transformed into a dazzling stage area with video and lighting projection. Mercedes-Benz welcomed more than 800 special guests including Mercedes-Benz loyalists and friends of the media. MediaCorp artiste and brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz, Elvin Ng, made an appearance at the launch.
The event started off with illuminated streaks of light forming the seamless silhouette of the soon-to-be unveiled C-Class, heightening the anticipation of the audience in the room. The crowd was then entertained with a high-octane and futuristic choreography performed by the dance crew in their illuminated LED suits.
Completed with an elaborate animation sequence of lights, color and sound, the new C-Class drove into full-view of the audience and took centre stage. After the unveiling, guests had the opportunity to experience the luxurious interior of different styling options as well as to take a first look at a host of cutting-edge innovations in the new C-Class, such as the gesture-based infotainment system with Touchpad, Led Intelligent Light System, AIR-BALANCE package, and the Burmester surround sound system.
With a combination of modern aesthetics and refined sportiness, the new C-Class left a sheer impression with those present at the wonderful evening.
