Spain: Three Fabias Super 2000 to appear at Principe de Asturias Rally
Three Škoda Fabias Super 2000 are going to appear at the ninth event of this year's Intercontinental Rally Challenge series (IRC) that is to take place near Oviedo, Spain on 10-12 September.
Jan Kopecký and Petr Starý from Škoda Motorsport team, the crew that triumphed at the most remote IRC event in Zlín, are going to drive a factory Fabia, young French Julien Maurin and, in particular, Alberto Hevia, a Spaniard that won the Rally de Ferrol (part of the Spanish championship) in late August in his first-ever appearance with the Škoda Fabia Super 2000, will drive private Fabias.
Jan Kopecký's appearance at the upcoming event has been made possible by the Škoda importer in Spain that provides excellent support and is very much involved in the Škoda rally program sponsoring a national team with Alberto Hevia.
