Subaru Palm Challenge, and the Chevy version in the US
It's November, and its Subaru palm challenge time again. This time round there will be eight cars (up from six) so that more people will have a chance to land themselves a 2.5-litre Impreza WRX. The challenge starts on 4th November, and those interested can check out the challenge website: http://www.mediacorpradio.sg/subaru2006/index.asp Clever promotional ideas like the Subaru Challenge are often copied, and Chevrolet has done so to promote its Aveo among college students. “Livin’ Large in Aveo” pits eight pairs of students spread in campuses all over the United States. The public votes for each couple by SMS (US phones only, I think) after viewing them by webcam. The whole idea is quite interesting – perhaps its something Chevrolet should try here.
