Subaru XV Receives A Midlife Refresh

The Subaru receives a midlife facelift, featuring a restyled front and rear bumpers, and a new grille.  Beyond the aesthetic updates, the XV now receives Subaru’s dual-function X-MODE and SI-DRIVE. The X-Mode is designed to complement Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system to allow drivers to take the road less travelled, get muddier and have more daring adventures. The system provides advanced, all-road capability and rugged performance — helping drivers get out of deep mud, improving driving confidence, especially on uneven surfaces or challenging inclines.

The SI-DRIVE on the other hand manages the XV’s powertrain performance, where the ‘Intelligent’ drive mode helps to smooth out accelerator inputs for fuel savings.

Subaru has also retuned the suspension for improved ride quality. The XV’s 2.0 litre NA engine and CVT transmission has been retained. The facelifted Subaru XV retails for $112,800.
