Tan Wei Levels Up With New Yamaha Showroom, Workshop and App
The homegrown retailer is expanding beyond motorcycle sales with more servicing support, digital tools and rider-focused activities.

Singapore’s Tan Wei Motorcycles has added a new Yamaha-authorised dealership, another workshop and a dedicated app as it looks to improve the motorcycle ownership experience.

The retailer celebrated the official opening of Yamaha by Tan Wei at Carros Centre on 10 October. Developed in partnership with Ban Hock Hin, the showroom offers riders a dedicated space to explore Yamaha motorcycles and receive product advice.
The launch also coincided with the opening of a second Ban Hock Hin workshop at the same location, strengthening the business’s aftersales support network.
Customers got started with the Tan Wei Motorcycles app by scanning a QR code at the event. The iOS and Android platform lets users browse available motorcycles, compare models, check indicative monthly payments, request reservations and book showroom appointments.
Riders can also connect with a named Tan Wei specialist through the app, alongside access to ownership-related features and customer benefits.
Beyond the new facilities and digital platform, the event included a Yamaha motorcycle showcase and activities for riders.
Founded by Tan Yann Yang in 2022, Tan Wei has grown from an initial stock of around 10 motorcycles to a consolidated operation spanning approximately 20,000 square feet, with more than 400 motorcycles and a team of about 40 employees.
Its latest developments reflect the company’s ambition to bring motorcycle sales, customer support and the wider ownership experience closer together.
